Vibration Data Collection and Equipment Trending
We are very proud of the program that we provide our customers, as well as our reporting. The PMP (Preventative Maintenance Program) provides our customers with the knowledge of the present mechanical condition of the entire building equipment.
Each bearing on each piece of equipment is read in three positions: horizontal, vertical, and axial.
Each bearing is inspected by using the parameters for Displacement, Velocity, Acceleration, and Spike Energy.
From the data we collect at each bearing, we are able to provide our customers with an accurate status of the mechanical operating condition of the equipment tested.
Our report includes the spectral data on bearings found in alarm, the vibration levels at the different frequencies, and a severity chart that interprets what the different levels of vibration mean.

Step One Awareness Program.
Establish an in-house training program for your engineers. Through our seminars we are teaching your engineers to become more aware of the mechanical problems that may hamper the operation of your building equipment. E/C Vibration and Balancing Service LTD. will bring to your building an in-house vibration/mechanical seminar. We provide the teacher and the necessary books to conduct the seminar. The nice part about our seminar is, we provide the books and seminar at no charge.
Step Two Equipment Inspection.
In one form or another, every piece of equipment is important to the operation of your building. Our vibration/mechanical program includes the reading of every bearing in three positions on each piece of equipment. The collection of vibration data combined with the visual mechanical inspection provides us with the present operating condition of each piece of equipment. The reporting of the mechanical problems and our suggestions for repairs will help minimize equipment down time.
Step Three The Repairs.
Each technician employed by E/C Vibration and Balancing Services LTD. is trained in the mechanical aspects of your equipment as well as the ability to perform vibration analysis. The service technician who collects the vibration data could very well be the person who would perform the repairs, if you desire.
Step Four You Schedule the Repairs.
What is most important is that you're scheduling the service, the equipment is not scheduling you. Having the ability to order the necessary parts, schedule the work so not to disrupt the operation of your building, and knowing the mechanical operating condition of your equipment is not only smart but cost efficient.
With this program you have taken yourself from emergency breakdowns to scheduled maintenance. You now have the ability to properly monitor the equipment, thus eliminating potential equipment failure.
We are dedicated to providing the very best service. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
